Campaigns
Building, scheduling and running outbound campaigns.
A campaign is a contact list, a dialing mode, a calling window, and the script or AI agent that handles the conversation.
Creating one
Campaigns → New Campaign. You can start blank, or from one of the thirteen prebuilt industry templates — medical clinic, dental, legal, real estate, car dealership, car rental, financial services and insurance, home services, fitness, salon and spa, tourism, political, or general purpose. A template brings a persona, a prompt, a call flow and a sample script that you then edit.
Importing contacts
Upload a CSV. The only required column is the phone number; everything else is optional but makes conversations better:
phone,first_name,last_name,email,company
+15551234567,Alex,Rivera,alex@example.com,Rivera DentalThe import validates before the list goes live, so bad rows surface up front rather than as failed calls later.
Calling windows
Set the window on the campaign. It is enforced in the contact's timezone, not the campaign's — a list spanning four US timezones will not call the east coast at 6am because your own working day started.
This matters legally as well as practically; see TCPA and calling compliance.
Retries
Configure how many attempts a contact gets and how long to wait between them. Outcomes that are worth retrying (no answer, busy) are distinguished from outcomes that are not (invalid number, do not call).
Campaign types
Standard
Agents take calls from the campaign as they become available, in whichever dialing mode you set.
AI
The campaign is handled by an AI voice agent rather than a person. See AI Voice Agents.
Broadcast
One-to-many outreach with its own dashboard, for announcements rather than conversations.
Political
A dedicated flow with its own compliance dashboard, reflecting the additional disclosure and record-keeping expectations political calling carries.
Testing
Every campaign has a Test action that dials a single number you control. Use it. It exercises the trunk, routing, recording and disposition path end to end before you point it at a list.
While it runs
- Campaigns shows live progress and outcome breakdown per campaign
- Agent Monitor (Supervisor view) shows who is on a call right now
- Call History carries the recording, transcript, outcome and disposition
together on one record
Do-not-call
Each tenant holds a DNC list, enforced across every campaign in the tenant. A number on it will not be dialled regardless of which list it appears in. Manage it under DNC List in the Agent view.
